The Center for Global Communications (GLOCOM) was established as an affiliated research institute of the International University of Japan in 1991. Since its establishment, GLOCOM has focused on interdisciplinary Japanese research and information society research and practice rooted in the development and spread of information and communication technologies, and it aims to always be a cutting-edge research institute for new social trends as a point of contact for industry, government, academia, and the public.
We are pleased to announce that Takumi Shimizu has been selected as the inaugural Google Policy Fellow at GLOCOM. We are looking forward to him joining us as a new member to our research network.
