Producer and planner Naho Kobayashi is a senior researcher at the Platform Research Team at GLOCOM.

Since 2000, I have been engaged in producing marketing and brand communication development projects using both digital and physical media. My expertise is in scenario making through the use of both quantitative big data (including, for example, customer attributes, actions, purchasing, preferences, etc.) and qualitative data (interviews, workshops, etc.), and applying these to business applications and creative service design rules, communication messages and visual expression.

My goal is applying the flow as such as the “art of creating views of the world, communicating to people, and empathetic thinking” not only for enterprise marketing but also to social design.

My basic simple question is whether the experiences created through new technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) or Artificial Intelligence (AI) bring happiness to people. The research group and I draw on a wide variety of researchers, including data analysts and experts and activists for each theme, with this approach based on my believe of the utility of using collaborative research processes with stakeholders for forging new ways to create solutions to social issues.

GLOCOM’s Platform Research Group will create opportunities for open innovation that connect s diverse knowledge, experiences and values of stakeholders, and also support planning and producing business development.
