It also aims to promote the dissemination and exchange of relevant information on an international scale.<\/p>\r\n        <\/div><!-- .para01 -->\r\n\r\n        <div class=\"para\">\r\n          <h3 class=\"ttl01\">Collaborating with All Stakeholders <br class=\"sp_disp\">to Realize Both \u201cThink and Do\u201d<\/h3>\r\n          <p class=\"txt01\">GLOCOM has been building a new relationship with stakeholders, not just an interdisciplinary or industry-academia collaboration, but aiming for a broader collaboration between industry, government, academia, and the general public.<br>\r\n          Its concept is called &#8220;Chigyo(\u667a\u696d)&#8221;, which refers to an organization exploring and acquiring new wisdom through open collaboration with stakeholders.<br>\r\n          GLOCOM has been advocating itself as a pioneer of &#8220;Chigyo&#8221; and promoting its activities as a unique research organization that combines academic research and collaboration with society.<\/p>\r\n          <p class=\"txt01\">Our mission is to establish new intellectual joint research activities with various organizations, connecting different areas of expertise in a cross-sectional manner through the demonstration and support of new activism that transcends the boundaries of existing research institutions.<br>\r\n          We will continue to aim to embody &#8220;Chigyo&#8221; by actively developing various collaborations with organizations, countries, and people.<\/p>\r\n        <\/div><!-- .para01 -->\r\n      <\/section><!-- .cont01 -->\r\n\r\n      <section class=\"cont02\">\r\n        <div class=\"para01\">\r\n          <h3 class=\"ttl02\">Our Mission<\/h3>\r\n          <p class=\"txt01\">Evolving the information society through both academic research and implementation activities<\/p>\r\n        <\/div><!-- .para01 -->\r\n\r\n        <div class=\"para01\">\r\n          <h3 class=\"ttl02\">Our Activities<\/h3>\r\n          <ol class=\"list01\">\r\n            <li>1. Leading-edge approaches to global and local issues in the information society<\/li>\r\n            <li>3. Connecting industry, government, academia and the private sector as a unique research network hub<\/li>\r\n            <li>4.
