Professor Takahiko Nomura received his Master\u2019s and Doctor\u2019s Degrees in Open and Environmental Sciences from the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Keio University. After joining Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd., he conducted research on CSCW (Computer Supported Cooperative Work) at the Corporate Research Institute, and worked in the Corporate Strategy Department to create a vision for the company\u2019s business transformation from \u201cDocument\u201d to \u201cKnowledge\u201d. At GLOCOM, he has been conducting research on how corporations and NPOs can create social innovation through their cooperative relationship. In June 2012, to test this research hypothesis, he launched Future Sessions, Inc. as a platform to drive social innovation across corporations, government, and NPOs. In 2019, he launched another company, named Slow Innovation, to transform Japanese society from \u2018fast paradigm\u2019 into \u2018slow paradigm\u2019.\n<\/p>\n
From 2006 to 2008, he was a Specially Appointed Associate Professor of SIMOT (Institutional Technology Management) at Tokyo Institute of Technology, and since April 2013, he has been a Professor at Kanazawa Institute of Technology, Toranomon Graduate School. He is the co-author of “Sarasara no soshiki” (The Sarasara Organization)\u3000(co-authoring, published from Diamond Inc.), “There’s No Job as Delicious as Working Behind the Scenes,” “Let’s Create a Future Center,” and “Innovation Facilitator” (all published by President Inc.). He has also translated and supervised “Community of Practice” (Shoei-sha), “Game Storming” and “Connect” (both O’Reilly Japan), “Scenario Planning,” “Innovation Toolkit for Commercializing Ideas,” and “What Should We Talk About When We Can’t See the Future? (both published by Eiji Press Inc.).<\/p>\n
