■Research Area
Educational informatization, learner-centeredness, social constructivism, ICT de-instructionalization, open data
Lack of motivation and self-efficacy of learners, busyness of teaching staff, and other issues that have become serious because their solutions have been postponed are piling up in Japanese school education.
In my research, I focus on the context of informatization to realize learning in the information society, with the goal of leading to solutions to realistic educational issues.
In addition to examining the multi-stakeholder premise of government, business, schools, and learners / guardians, I specialize in a series of surveys (interviews, survey design, statistical analysis of large-scale questionnaires), system development, implementation (including classroom and school operation), and evaluation, based mainly on findings from educational psychology and educational engineering.
