■Research Area
Information Economics, Digital Economy, Urban Economics, Business Strategy, Business Model
I am working on clarifying the direction of corporate management strategies and policies by analyzing how information technology (IT) affects the economy and social systems.
Information technology, which is constantly evolving, is creating a variety of services and business forms, from crowdsourcing to the sharing economy to blockchain and virtual currencies.
By identifying the dynamics of technology and economics behind these new services, I would like to clarify how companies should deal with technological innovation and how governments should respond from a medium- to long-term perspective, and propose solutions.
